The International Education Development Forum 2017 was held in Nagoya University on November 3rd and 4th.
The weather was pretty great.
7 of our YISK Seminar students participated in it, and 6 students made their presentation of research proposal or full paper.

Students' presentation was devided into 6 groups, there are at least 2 attending Professors and Doctors in every group who give students very serious and significant coments or suggestions about their research.

The Special Symposium " Equity in Education in Global contest" part was conducted on 3rd night.
/ Dr. AaronBenavot (Professor of School of Educaiton, State University of New York at Albany; Former director of the Global Education Monitorig Report) gave his presentation about " Will a global learning metric improve equity in Education?".
/ Dr. Samsideth Dy ( Deputy Director-General for Education and Head of the Secretariat of the Education Research Council, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Cambodia) talked about " Placing Equity in Education at the Certer of Teacher Education Reform in Cambodia" .
/ Dr.Jialing Han (Professor of Sociology Institute, Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, China; Vice Presisent, 21st Century Education Research Institute) gave a presentation about " Education of Migrant Children in China".
Xuemei Li, student of Nagoya Univ., an excellent conference organizer and leader for this forum. She is in charge of connection with coordinators from other universities.
Lastely, the next year's IEDF
will be held in KOBE university!
